Bridal Inspiration from Couture Spring 2016 Fashion Week

Haute Couture Fashion Week has some of the most mesmerizing shows gracing the runway. Designers really display their creativity and craftsmanship by bringing to life some of the most stunning collections.

We always look forward to Couture Fashion Week to see what looks are wedding worthy and what we can expect for upcoming bridal style.

Here are our favorite looks from Couture Spring 2016 Fashion Week that we would love to see on a bride.

Chanel presented stunning dresses that were garden-wedding worthy. This two-tiered tea-length lace gown is perfect for a spring country wedding set in a floral garden. Informal yet so beautiful and elegant.

Zuhair Murad always has such a regal elegance to his couture collections. This blush gown with 3-D floral appliques is a modern take on a classic silhouette. And for a bride who wants to wear a color on her wedding day, this would be the perfect bridal gown.

Valentino gave so many bridal moments with their Spring 2016 Couture as one cream dress after another glided down the runway. The plunging neckline and soft pleats make this a beautiful choice for an upscale beach wedding dress. Or with a long cascading veil and a crystal lariat necklace to add some sparkle – we could definitely see this gown on a non-traditional bride.

Giambattista Valli created a gown with so many different design elements; color, lace, floral details, high- low silhouette. But his masterful artistry was able to keep all of these details in balance. Brides are becoming more open to a non-white gowns and with high-low being a huge trend in bridal, this Giambattista gown would give any bride a head-turning walk down the aisle.

Alexis Mabille satin sweetheart bodice and soft ombre tulle skirt was just too gorgeous and romantic for it not to be a bridal gown. In this delicate color palette or even in bridal white – this was one of our favorite looks from the couture shows that was truly bridal worthy.

And we can’t forget about the bridesmaids. Schiaparelli, who had a runway full of color in the prettiest shades, was bridesmaids worthy. We love this soft flowing gown in a color very similar to this year’s Pantone color – Serenity. The silhouette would be flattering to all your girls and the color is very on trend.
